Commentary on Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics by Thomas Aquinas
This edition of Thomas Aquinas’ *Commentary on Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics* began as a personal project during my graduate studies in philosophy.
I noticed there were a lot of eBooks of Aquinas available, but not this one. There were a few good websites, and I had a printed copy, but I really wanted an eBook I could carry easily and read offline. So, I made one. The main text is drawn from the public domain version at Isidore.co, and C.I. Litzinger’s 1964 translation (Chicago: Regnery) was used to help when the online version had misspellings, missing, or unclear parts.
This volume is formatted for readability and offline study, and contains a foreword, a reading guide for new readers of Aquinas, and an appendix summarizing the structure of the work by book and lecture. There is no critical commentary provided - just the original text in a portable format.
